The Business Growth Hub is at the heart of Greater Manchester’s strategy for determining and delivering business growth services which improve productivity and create jobs. We are part of the Manchester Growth Company and we work with ambitious businesses that want to grow their bottom line, boost their profile, and create new business growth. Our key aim is to help people think differently about their business and explore different ways of developing their company. The Business Growth Hub is expanding its existing offer to businesses with the development of enhanced and exciting new services and now needs find individuals with the passion and capability to help us achieve our goals.

We are looking to appoint a suitably talented individual to the role of Digital Growth Manager to lead the Business Growth Hub’s Digital Growth offer to companies. Operating across Greater Manchester, the service offers support to help clients improve their use of digital technology to achieve growth ambitions. The service currently includes a programme of events together with one to one support delivered by Digital Growth Advisors. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to enhance the current offering and influence the continued service design. This activity will be delivered through our own in house teams and various associates; linking with a much wider family of relevant stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need to be able to lead a team of specialists and third party suppliers. The skills and knowledge needed are detailed in the role profile but key desired elements include:

• Extensive business experience in the digital sector
• Skilled in the management of business support services with the ability to lead and inspire
• Experience in service design and implementation
• Analysis and problem solving skills to an advanced level
• Excellent financial, contract management and IT skills
• Logical and organised approach
