McCann Manchester is a leading, fully integrated marketing communications agency with a national and international client base and a unique campus environment. We provide a wide range of communication solutions for our clients, including Aldi, Harveys, Smyths, Cross Country Trains and Shire Pharmaceuticals.

Due to continued growth of the agency, we are on the lookout for experienced Digital Account Managers to join our team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for managing day-to-day website updates, managing the creative development and execution of digital advertising and email programmes as well as getting involved in the planning of seasonal events and longer term projects.

• Managing the design and development of microsites, mobile apps, banner and email creation, liaising with the client and briefing creative and studio teams as appropriate.

• Working with an Account Director on longer term strategic plans / projects.

• Building strong and effective working relationships with the other disciplines to maximise efficiencies across the teams.

• Ensuring best practice is adhered to with both your client’s website and all digital communications.

• Managing the building of new web sections and categories on your client’s website.

• Mentoring and developing junior members of the team.

What you’ll need

• To be successful you’ll need a genuine passion for digital communications.
• Retail experience would be an advantage.
• You’ll need excellent people management, communication and organisation skills.
