We are a fast paced, rapidly growing media business and we are currently looking for an experienced Digital Account Director. Ideally we are looking for someone who has 5+ years of agency experience, very data driven, someone who’s passionate about their job with clear communication, an eye for detail, organised and confident! For you to succeed in this role PPC is a must! We also need you to have experience of work knowledge of Display, Social & Affiliates. If you have SEO experience it would be an advantage and if you have experience in offline media, a bonus!

You will be working under the guidance of the Associate Director to manage and grow existing client relationships, as well as delivering business growth through assisting with new business projects.

You will need a strong business acumen and be numbers and data focused in order to deliver solutions to clients through digital media.

You will oversee a team of 7 people to ensure that they are knowledgeable and effective in their roles and give a good account of the agency. You will also have a good enough working knowledge of media implementation to guide them in best practise where needed. You will work very closely with the Account Managers to make sure that deadlines are managed and media is delivered as planned.

You will work with media owners and new and tech providers to ensure we are utilising the best strategies and deployment of media budget that gives us the greatest return on investment for our clients. The candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about new and emerging technologies so we are able to stay on the cutting edge of media planning and delivery.

Some of your key responsibilities would be:

Leading client meetings and relationships
Managing clients business to ensure optimum spends.
Instigating planning and client related business initiatives
Establishing and managing long-term client strategies
Assessing client satisfaction
Assessing client profitability
Ownership of client payments and queries
Overseeing team to ensure client servicing
Signposting clients to relevant resource within account teams
Responsibility for ensuring regular client strategy and status meetings are implemented
Ultimately responsible for quality of the work produced by the media team Key media owner negotiation and ensuring buying standards are maintained.
Maintaining media owner relationships
Providing Board with insight of day to day client/team/media owner issues Ensuring that systems are being properly and demonstrably utilised Identification of any new technology opportunities in the digital media space, and develop the business case for these
Identification of any new online media opportunities, and investigate the potential feasibility for ARM clients
Leading training programmes where required Regular meetings with Account Managers, both one to one and as a group to discuss individual and team performance, client news, areas of development for ARM and forward business
Taking responsibility for team motivation & ‘Guardians of team morale’
Help with running Team PDR’s
Help with the recruitment process within team
Champion and encourage integration between both off and online media and team members
Monitor and maximise the profitability of the digital unit
Taking an active role in new business generation
Creating reports by media/ sector which can be utilised for client retention and acquisition
Cross selling and up selling other ARM tools/media to existing clients
Fresh resource across other clients for brainstorming etc.
Awareness and support of directors objectives


Devising digital strategies to meet client’s KPIs
High standard of document writing for client meetings and new business meetings
Overseeing the delivery of digital strategies, campaign plans, reports Ensure quality outputs are delivered to clients from the team by providing constructive feedback on plans, strategy and results.
Management and assistance in creating personal development plans for the team
Developing client strategies beyond the current scope by identifying and exploiting opportunities where possible
Develop relationships with media owners to ensure we have the best rounded knowledge of the market place.
Agility and flexibility are important, as is the ability to solve problems as they arise.
Management of the relationship between income and time spent on accounts within the client team
