An excellent opportunity for a Digital Account Director to join Lakestar McCann, an award winning and respected digital marketing agency working with an expert team of colleagues and world famous brands across a diverse range of sectors, including fashion, retail, travel and motoring to name but a few.
As Digital Account Director you will represent the client at a senior level within the agency, acting as the strategic lead for digital marketing campaigns. You will work directly with the delivery teams to ensure your client’s campaign objectives are consistently met. Taking responsibility for your client’s satisfaction, retention and growth, as well as ensuring the client is managed efficiently and profitably for the agency.
You will be the most aware person within the agency for all things involving your clients; coordinating the wider delivery teams within the agency on a day to day basis, ensuring standards are high for all of your campaigns and that agency obligations are met with excellence. Developing a solid understanding of your client’s business, their sector and their digital marketing objectives/performance, and proactively use this knowledge to become an integral part of your client’s marketing team – ensuring Lakestar McCann is seen as a key strategic partner.
You will be responsible for creating a development plan for your clients, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction, client retention and striving for client growth within the agency. You will be required to ensure your clients have a full understanding of the services Lakestar McCann can deliver as well as the wider McCann Manchester offering, and that the agency is at the forefront of your client’s minds for marketing services.
You should have extensive agency experience in a client services capacity with a passion for and well-rounded grasp of the full digital marketing mix – including SEO, paid media such as PPC, display and affiliates, social marketing, email marketing, conversion rate optimisation and website development. In today’s converging world the need to understand both on and offline marketing is ever greater and so the role may involve working with the wider services of McCann Manchester in order to develop integrated campaigns for your clients.
Additional Core Skills and Knowledge
• Experience of integrated marketing campaigns
• Experience of international campaigns would be an advantage
• Excellent standard of written and verbal English
• Excellent organisational and presentation skills
• Educated to Degree level (preferred) or equivalent qualification
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word & Excel
