Design and Multi-Media Content Officer
Are you a creative communicator who can produce compelling content which tells the story of St Catherine’s Hospice and inspires support for the charity?
We’re excited to be recruiting for the brand new position of Design and Multi-Media Content Officer, who will be responsible for creating engaging content to be used across multiple channels, on and off-line.
The successful candidate will have the creative flair and technical expertise to support the diverse responsibilities of the communications team – from promoting fundraising events and our growing retail portfolio, to showcasing the importance of hospice care and the difference it makes.We need someone who can produce professional content which makes an impression, keeping us high in the hearts and minds of our community.
We’ve made great progress with the quality and variety of our content in recent years, and are keen to maintain the high standards we’ve set whilst exploring new ideas.
Design and create engaging content for multiple channels including social media, website, email, out of home and print
Embrace a variety of media (print; video; audio; graphics; animation) to produce content which best suits the event/campaign and the target audience
Meet and liaise with staff and stakeholders to determine the scope and brief of materials required
Create engaging, shareable content for use across all social media channels for the hospice, our shops and The Mill
Assist with the management and development of social media channels for the hospice, our shops and The Mill
Evaluate the success of social media campaigns and share findings with the communications team to help dictate future campaign planning
Keep the Director of Communications and Senior Communications Officer abreast of any issues or problems on social media which could affect the charity’s reputation
Contribute towards a social media strategy which fits with both the communications department and organisation’s strategies and objectives
Assist with the management and development of websites for the hospice and The Mill
Keep online content up to date and engaging
Analyse and monitor the effectiveness of the website and identify further improvements
Assist with SEO of content
Create targeted, impactful e-communications promoting the hospice, our shops and The Mill
Assist with digital advertising campaigns (PPC, Google Adwords, banner advertising) and evaluate their success
Assist with the design of staff and volunteer communications materials as required, both on and off line
