What does Join the Dots do?

As an innovative, award-winning consumer insight agency, we help you make better business decisions through a deep understanding of people. Wherever you are, we join the dots between your business needs, the best primary research approaches and our in-depth understanding of the consumer world.

What will you be doing?

This is a senior client-facing role winning new culture and trend-led income streams into the business. You’ll lead on the delivery of custom consulting projects that help our clients anticipate change and deliver business strategy against it in a commercially beneficial way.

You’ll also:

• Lead on the scoping, winning, design and execution of bespoke trends-led projects for clients across the globe, including developing innovation platforms / NPD, cultural immersions, trends deep dives and brand strategy;
• Oversee desk research, interviews and insight gathering activity, analysing the findings using our trends framework;
• Line manage and coach junior staff members;
• Work collaboratively with clients, account directors and researchers to guide trends and primary research, ensuring the outputs will meet the project objectives;
• Synthesise research findings and apply big picture thinking to deliver outputs that are highly commercial and client-business ready;
• Write thought-pieces and articles and deliver client seminars and conference papers;
It would be great if you were:
• Experienced in marketing, insights, trend or futures research, strategic brand planning or consulting, or other creative thinking or strategic delivery industries;
• Forward-thinking, able to anticipate future trends;
• Able to engage, enthuse and inspire colleagues, clients, researchers and Business Development Directors with the latest cultural and trends insights;
• Be a strong networker with the ability to forge good working relationships with others;
• International experience and cultural understanding is a bonus
