We are currently looking for a Creative Content Executive to lead the development and production of agile digital content ideas at McCann Manchester. The Creative Content Executive would work directly with the Chief Content Officer and Content Director to come up with ideas and executions that will best deliver against the clients marketing objectives and then create the videos, imagery or graphics needed to deliver the idea.

The role requires a creative brain, a good knowledge of social media channels, graphic design, filming and editing techniques and software. You will think on their feet, come up with ideas and create content on the fly. You will take the idea from shooting to editing and being ready for posting on social or a website within hours.

As Creative Content Executive you will work closely with media channel managers to analyse and optimise content as part of agile and responsive social media campaigns.

DUTIES
Coming up with digital content ideas to bring to life the brand idea or story
Making and producing those ideas from start to finish eg thinking of ideas to bring a brief to life, shooting the ideas, editing it and working with social media manager to post and amplify the idea.
Working with the Content Director and Content Officer to develop content marketing plans
Presenting ideas to clients
Taking part in new business pitches

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Conceptual creative thinking
Photography and videography
Video editing
Graphic design
Knowledge of all social channels and what works well.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Basic knowledge of SEO
Copy writing for social
Basic web UX and design ie what makes a good website

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Someone who has worked in a digital creative department or social media, digital media or agency making content. Someone who is equally comfortable coming up with digital ideas, shooting simple imagery and short films, editing and then working hand in hand with a social media manager to promote and optimise the content they have made.
