Are you an experienced Packaging Artworker with some degree of design ability?
My client is an international brand communications agency now looking for a further Creative Artworker for their busy Leeds studio.
Working in a team with other creatives, designers and creative artworkers, the main responsibilities of this role will comprise of rolling out existing designs on FMCG packaging through to completed artwork. Making sure the concept and layout of the design is maintained when transferring the idea onto a variant of different formats. Work will mainly comprise of packaging, however you could be asked to work on the odd POS and publication advertising campaign too.
The ideal person will need to have worked for a similar packaging focussed agency. Able to appreciate the rationale behind the preconceived concept, making sure its objectives aren’t lost in translation. Use to working around supplied cutter guides, creating multi layered artwork, having at least an intermediate level of image retouching ability and knowledge of the various print processes associated with packaging.
It goes without saying you will be strong in Illustrator and be competent in Photoshop too. Additional experience in InDesign and any 3D packages advantageous, but not a necessity.
A great chance to join a internationally recognised agency working on some big brands.
