Conversion Optimiser

The Conversion Optimiser role offers an incredibly exciting and rewarding opportunity to use the power of CRO to deliver a pioneering user experience to our millions of website visitors. You will work with the product manager, a content marketer and a UX designer to research, test and build new digital features and experiences for our customers.

You will not only be doing basic A/B testing but supporting the build and development an in-house CRO process that drives results and delivers real and positive impact for our customers.

The mission of the Conversion Optimiser is to build a world-leading digital experience through a robust testing framework. Working as part of the Product Team, you will play a crucial role in our ambitious plans to build a brand experience that is the best in the world.

Role Overview

You will work with the product manager, a content marketer and a UX designer to research, test and build new digital features and experiences for our customers.

You will not only be doing basic A/B testing but supporting the build and development an in-house CRO process that drives results and delivers real and positive impact for our customers.

Role Objectives & Outcomes/Goals

You will be tasked with achieving the following outcomes in this role:

  • Achieve a significant conversion rate uplift after 12 months, with a focus on improving the bottom line
  • Own the CRO process, nurturing its growth and continuous improvement

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of user research, including user tests, user interviews, surveys and more
  • Use analytics tools to pull reports and insights from quantitative data
  • Ongoing implementation of data reports and setups, predominantly in Google Analytics
  • Present key ideas and findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Management of the testing process, including generating hypotheses, owning the testing schedule, implementing tests and reporting on completed tests
  • Coordination of the UX Designer and Content Marketer to push ideas through the CRO process
  • Collaboration with the Development team to build and deploy tests and new features
  • Supporting the Product Manager in the ongoing improvement of the CRO process 

Skills, Competencies Experience and Personal Attributes

  • 3+ years' experience with a proven track record of using Conversion Optimisation to drive impact on a company’s bottom line
  • Hands on experience using A/B testing tools
  • Highly proficient in Google Analytics
  • Highly proficient in Data & Statistical Analysis
  • High proficiency in using and deriving insights from analytics and customer behaviour tools
  • Highly process driven with a natural affinity for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations
  • A good working knowledge of UX best practices
  • An understanding of HTML / CSS and basic javascript. {actual coding of experiments may not be involved}
