We are expanding our team with an opportunity in business development and administration as our new Community Manager at The Landing. The role is a dynamic one and we would expect you to have a passion for small businesses, technology, starts ups and high growth businesses and in most instances be the first point of call for potential new members of The Landing.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and some understanding of the challenges behind tech company growth in this unique sector. Interacting with digital businesses and the management team of The Landing will require someone with natural energy, self organisation and flair as well as sensitivity towards confidentiality.

The role would involve:

Experience using CRM platforms and other related software as a service platforms

Hospitality or event management experience / experience managing and delivering quality events and associated services

Experience managing public spaces (co-working / serviced offices) and associated services toan appropriate target audience

Experience of working alone or with others to gather a variety of evidences of impact: case studies, testimonials, references, evaluation

Passion for helping people, building communities, taking pride in both a job well done and contributing positively to our community

Sales experience / Ability to complete all stages of the sales pipeline, and sell services effectively through a range of mediums: face to face, phone, email; and to engage effectively on social media platforms

Proven ability to build a company’s profile and presence.

Experience managing communication channels including social media, PR and marketing materials – from generating and receiving enquiries, through to service delivery.

Ability to spot, rationalise and prioritise ideas for improvements and new business opportunities, and to implement the best and successfully generating new business.

Strong networks in the technology SME space that you utilise to maximum effect.

We offer 26 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays and free parking.

Salary: £22-24k
