Communications and Marketing Manager
TMS Global, a leading supplier of marketing solutions to the consumer goods sector, has a vacancy for an experienced, self-starting Communications and Marketing Manager to join its expanding team, based in its new head office in central Manchester.
Reporting to the Head of Implementation, the successful candidate will play an important role in forming and implementing an internal communications plan for TMS and its 200 employees in 98 countries.Great project management skills are an absolute essential for this multi-faceted role.
Key tasks include: creating monthly newsletters; supporting Town Hall forums; identifying and celebrating best practice across the business and working closely with the TMS leadership team as the company enters an exciting phase of growth and new customer acquisition in line with new 5 year strategy. Excellent written and verbal copywriting skills are of course a must, and a knowledge of managing online communications platforms such as Yammer would be an advantage.
Primarily-focused on internal communications, the successful candidate may also be required to assist the Leadership team’s new business activities with the preparation of bid documents. A further aspect to the role is to act as an effective interface between TMS and its parent company DS Smith Group, one of the world's largest packaging and consumer goods suppliers, to ensure a consistent approach to communication and adoption of key group-wide initiatives such as the annual Employee Survey.
