Opportunity to join the award-winning Channel 4 Sales Team as ‘Group Digital Manager’

Working as part of an integrated agency sales group, the Group Digital Manager is responsible for maximising digital market revenues from a portfolio of agencies and advertisers on a sustainable basis across all channel represented by 4Sales.

This involves working with the Nations & Regions Trading Team to reach ambitious revenue goals and achieve excellent agency service levels. The role has responsibility for managing the digital trading relationship with agencies and advertisers.

Key Responsibilities
Maximise revenue and market share for VOD and Programmatic Advertising
Management and forecasting of digital revenue targets
Negotiation of deals and management of digital relationships
Secure new and incremental digital business
Analyse, prepare and create sales materials to support negotiations

Develop and manage new and existing agency and client relationships
Creation and delivery of presentations to agencies and clients
Develop and maintain a digital sales plan for agencies and advertisers

Manage deal paperwork and contracts
Generate and distribute deal contracts
Providing clarification on contractual matters
Maintaining related records
Liaise with Auditor to ensure contractual delivery

Partnering with the Nations & Regions Team
Partner with the London team to ensure digital product capability, market and capacity knowledge is up to date
Share digital knowledge and expertise across the teams

Resolving deal interpretation issues
Secure competitive deals on a sustainable basis
Can demonstrate organisational agility and handle unfamiliar problems and issues

Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience of working in digital sales or agency related role
Proven experience of managing trading relationships
Proven experience of negotiating deals
Experience of creating and presenting sales materials and documents to agencies
An in-depth understanding of digital media sales and advertising process
A strong knowledge of the commercial market and trading mechanics
Highly numerate
Advanced excel skills
Knowledge of C4’s competitors and other media
Extensive relationship management experience
Self-motivated and enjoy working to targets
Comfortable working to tight deadlines
Keeps updated with industry knowledge
