We’re an award-winning, fully integrated marketing agency (strategy-creative-digital communications) in our 10th year of operation. We’re based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle and in 2014 launched our very own CIC, Agent Academy.

We’re looking for a passionate, talented, charismatic, imaginative business development / partnership manager to come and join the Agent team. Working with our managing director and heads of department you’ll be tasked with helping to support the ongoing growth of the agency. You’ll be identifying and bringing on new clients whilst super-servicing existing clients by developing ongoing mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships.

We want our new team member to possess tremendous skill, passion, commitment and drive. We’re looking for a talented individual who can demonstrate confidence, efficiency and skill in delivering growth across our 4 inter-dependent business units.

Developing a refreshed business development strategy – you’ll be co-creating this with our managing director and the entire Agent team.
 Building the Agent brand – you’ll be leading the way in enhancing awareness of the Agent brand across a range of activities including networking and by delivering quality presentations to a range of audiences.

 Communicating the Agent brand – you’ll be working alongside the various heads of departments to design, develop and implement truly engaging marketing campaigns, helping educate new and existing clients on the services we provide, how we work, the ways in which we add value and most importantly, why they should choose Agent.

 Identifying business opportunities – you’ll be responsible for researching, locating and identifying commercial opportunities for Agent to develop new client relationships.

 Lead on sales brainstorming sessions – working with the team to come up with innovative, original and inventive marketing solutions.

 Selling our services as part of our integrated approach – strategy (engagement and consultation, market research and planning services), creative (brand, animation, videography), digital (web design, build and promotion) and communications (campaign management including public relations, social media, media buying, events etc.)

 Presenting Agent – you’ll be responsible for writing winning proposals, completing winning tenders and delivering winning pitches in order to help generate new business for the agency.

 Winning new work – you’ll be tasked with generating new business to meet the company’s overall financial targets.

 Reporting – you’ll lead on the development of detailed sales reports and forecasts.

 Developing partnerships and mutually beneficial relationships – you’ll be continually on the look-out for potential new partners for Agent and the existing clients that we support. We love to add value as standard!

You will need ….

A strong set of values.

2-3 years’ work experience in an agency sales / business development role (or similar).

Experience and evidence of being target driven and successful in your approach to business development.

 An ability to work as part of our strong team, enhancing our culture.  A fantastic, engaging and confident style of presenting.

Excellent writing skills – the ability to pen clear and concise proposals and tenders.

A real attention to detail in everything that you do.

An innate ability to develop honest, authentic and solid relationships with new and existing clients.

An ability to project manage, prioritise and deliver against often tight deadlines.

An innate ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.

An ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.

Excellent administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel). Understanding of the Adobe would be beneficial.
