To that end, we are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to work in our expanding team.

Reporting into our New Business Director you’ll be responsible for:

• Working in conjunction with the New Business Director you’ll be responsible for the creation of significant new business and growth opportunities on an ongoing basis across a number of sectors and marketing disciplines.

• You’ll be responsible for agreeing targeting strategy and campaign creation that cuts through and create opportunities to pitch for new business with major prospective clients.

• You’ll oversee the work of a Business Development Executive (BDE) who you’ll work hand in hand with on campaigns. The BDE is responsible for campaign delivery, email and telephone follow up and meeting support once an opportunity has been created.

• You’ll be responsible for bringing together credentials presentations and management of initial meetings with the New Business Director and Managing Partners across the agency.

• You’ll take responsibility for managing the creation and delivery of RFI and RFP documents working in conjunction with colleagues across the agency and in some cases within the wider agency group.

• You’ll also support the allocated pitch team throughout the pitch process supporting everything from timing plans to rehearsals.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is supremely well organised
• Has the drive and energy to make things happen from initial idea to final pitch
• Has excellent written communications skills
• Has strong and proven background in business development ideally in media, marketing or professional services
• Has an existing network of contacts that would augment the agency’s targeting strategy
• Has the ability to engage with a wide range of decision makers across an organisation
• Has outstanding telephone sales and business development skills
• Is highly creative in their approach and understands how to start meaningful conversations with a wide range of client side marketing roles
• Has a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape across paid, owned and earned media
• Has the drive, passion and ambition to succeed in one of the most successful agencies in the UK
• High level of competency across Microsoft office suite and ideally Adobe Creative Suite (not essential)
