This is a key appointment to join our successful NBD team and to build relationships with exciting prospects and our exceptional existing client roster.
HGA is in its 27th year of business and boasts a client base of globally admired brands for whom we deliver award winning live events, film & video, digital and design projects. The successful candidate be responsible for helping to deliver HGA’s ambitious new business strategy and will have 3 years+ experience of achieving and exceeding targets, good business acumen, a nose for identifying new business opportunities and the passion to convert them into long term clients.
Whilst not essential, previous agency experience of delivering effective business development results across any of our core services; Live Events, Video Production, Digital and Design is preferred.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Drive client generation within our target sectors – through calls and face-to-face relationship building
Constantly looking to unearth briefs from prospects that meet HGA’s pre-defined criteria
Wowing prospects through the delivery of impactful credentials meetings to introduce HGA
Developing relationships with existing clients to make the most of the untapped potential to cross-sell our services, delivering agreed targeted growth percentage from these accounts
Providing regular progress reports – helping to identify any changes necessary to ensure targets are achieved
Providing our pitch teams with detailed and comprehensive background information on each prospect/brief to help secure new business wins
Assisting with a range of marketing and presentation collateral (credentials, presentations, showreels etc), ensuring they are up to date and effective.
Identifying any gaps in HGA’s marketing collateral
Fully understanding HGA and being able to articulate and live our ‘Challenging the Ordinary’ philosophy
Assisting with the creation and implementation of tactical new business campaigns to achieve specific new business goals
Assessing and reporting the effectiveness/ROI of tactical new business campaigns to the HGA Board
Sourcing and attending relevant networking events to further your knowledge and client reach
You will need to demonstrate the following skills to a high level:
