As part of our rapidly growing business we are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who once proven, has the attributes to step into a Sales Manager role and lead a sales team. Reporting directly into the Head of Sales and Marketing we are looking for someone with a passion for success, proven track record and knowledge of digital marketing.

The Role
• Establish a customer base through prospecting companies around the UK, predominantly the North West.
• To respond to inbound sales enquiries, have the acumen to qualify an opportunity and commercial experience to confidently talk about budgets.
• To meet clients face to face and provide consultancy for their marketing enquiries selling in a suite of website design, SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
• Spot cross selling opportunities for existing clients
• Marketing our services to our target audience
• Proposal writing
• Responding to tenders
• Consultancy with our prospects
• Run face to face meetings and lead presentations

The Responsibilities
• Add value to the CRM
• Reporting on sales statistics
• Closing new business from cradle to grave
• Develop a team of sales people to drive the business forward

Attributes required for the role
• Minimum 12 months experience in sales
• Have a passion for digital
• Have an interest in marketing strategies and business growth
• Can demonstrates a desire for success
• Motivated by a challenge
• Keen to progress and take on responsibility in the senior team
• Outgoing and driven
• Keen to establish themselves in an ambitious business
• Some experience in digital marketing is preferable but not essential
