Account Director

We are looking for a creative, hard-working, super-organised and motivated individual to join our ever-expanding Manchester team.

As an experienced account director, you will already be a seasoned communications practitioner and media operator, with experience of managing multiple client projects in-house or within an agency environment. You will be required to deliver UK-wide campaigns, which means a passion for achieving results is essential.

You will manage and develop strategic objectives for a team of PR professionals and you will be accountable for the success of this team and have the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that clients are getting consistently good consultancy advice and value. You will also be responsible for bringing in new business, creating results-focussed campaigns and managing a talented team to deliver outstanding results for all of your clients.

You should possess excellent verbal and written skills, be confident at identifying and pitching news and feature ideas, at home with digital and social media, confident in identifying PR opportunities, and be committed to adding value to our client relationships. You should also possess excellent people skills and be adept at applying these in various situations, whether it’s at a networking event, hosting a cross-agency meeting or managing junior members of your team. You will be at ease with unfamiliar tasks and situations, be comfortable juggling competing priorities and retain a cool head under pressure.
