Digital Communications Officer
We’re looking for a digital communications officer to join our communications team and help deliver a comprehensive service to communities, staff and stakeholders.
The role involves leading development of the Service’s digital channels including website, intranet, social media, email and mobile messaging.
You’ll create engaging content for a wide range of platforms and target audiences and photograph and film incidents, events and other activities.
Using insights and analytics you’ll plan and implement digital activity, monitor channels, evaluate results and ensure delivery on objectives.
Communicating during emergencies, media relations and delivering communications activity to support campaigns, projects and events are all part of this varied role.
The successful candidate will be experienced in managing multiple digital media channels and producing high quality content for a variety of audiences. This is a permanent, full time position based at Service headquarters in Fulwood. It is a requirement of the post to provide an on-call communications service on a rota basis.
