We take a peek inside the Arrive coworking space in MediaCity UK in Salford for this week's Where We Work.

In the White building of Salford's thriving MediaCity development, the Arrive workplace is inhabited by "an eclectic mix of independent businesses from PR, design and digital agencies to professional services".

We spoke to Lynn Haime, MediaCityUK’s Asset Manager, who told us why the space is so adored...

"Arrive is located in the 16-storey White tower, right in the heart of one of the UK’s most exciting creative and digital destinations - MediaCityUK. Its floor to ceiling windows allows natural light to flood into its cool and airy workspaces, as well as provide amazing views of MediaCityUK and the surrounding area.

Arrive’s neighbours in White include some of the most progressive and successful production companies in the UK, including Red Productions and dock10’s post-production facility - giving it an unrivalled creative buzz."

Where is it?

Floors four to six, White, MediaCityUK

How big is it?

The three floors provide a total of circa 26,000 sq ft with each floor divided into eight offices which can host anything from six up to 20 desks. Occupiers love the Scandi-style Hub with its trendy interiors, easy chairs and huddle pods.

"The outdoor roof terrace leading off the Hub has a Zen-like feel to it"

Tenants and visitors congregate for socials and TED talks in the Hub, where there is a theatre-style auditorium and an open plan kitchen, giving it a home from home feel.

There’s a chilled-out vibe where dogs are allowed (and an office cat!). The outdoor roof terrace leading off the Hub has a Zen-like feel to it and is great for socials and al fresco meetings. Heaters, meeting sheds and blankets are even provided for year-round use.

What happens there?

Arrive is home to an eclectic mix of independent businesses from PR, design and digital agencies to professional services and even a house building business. The Hub and socially orientated nature of Arrive means collaboration is encouraged and there is a welcoming community spirit.

Who works there?

Currently, there are 21 occupiers including Rule 5, Aire Design, Northstone, Drumbeat, Aside Productions, Lda and Perfect Fit Media. When businesses move into Arrive, they can hit the ground running by moving into a fully furnished office, on a flexible contract with monthly inclusive rates.

Due to the success of Arrive, similar fully-furnished suites have been created in Tomorrow – giving current and potential occupiers the opportunity to expand.
