Manchester City and its principle sponsor, Etihad Airways are filming a new football-inspired travel series.
Global City will feature City fans from around the world and is hosted by rugby World Cup winner and lifelong supporter, Will Greenwood.
The five part series will be filmed in Manchester, Abu Dhabi, Jakarta, Melbourne and New York.
“We are excited to work with our partner, Etihad Airways, to launch this innovative new series which brings City’s global fan base to life. City followers all over the world will relate to the personal stories of their fellow fans and how they celebrated the key moments in our history,” explained Diego Gigliani, director of media and fan relationship management.
The films will be published on City and Etihad’s digital and social media channels as well as on-board Etihad flights.

Football is truly global in reach and we are excited to showcase the Club’s diverse fan base from all corners of the world,” added Patrick Pierce, vice president sponsorship and events at Etihad Airways.
