schoolManchester digital agency, Livelink has launched a digital platform which will help get school children moving.

Called Amaven the tools will help teachers improve what they refer to as the ‘physical literacy’ of children as part of the current national curriculum requirements for physical education.

The software means teachers can measure and track pupil performance in physical activity throughout each key stage using exercise programmes designed by renowned PE and healthcare professionals.

It’s already been trialled in a selection of UK schools and early results show an average improvement of almost 30% for balance, co-ordination and physical fitness for the primary school children who took part in the pilot programmes.

Livelink is delivering a full service offering to support the growth of Amaven comprising scoping, specification, web development and digital marketing.

Livelink MD, PK Vaish explained: “Owning the whole project means that we have had a huge say in the planning of the content, the launch strategy and communications with all parties from stakeholders and prospective partners through to potential end users. We are acting as an extension of Amaven’s team and will use the recent trial success to start more conversations using all the platforms at our disposal.

“The team has fully embraced Amaven as we are all excited by the concept of a system that has the potential to make such an impact on a child’s health and well-being. The software is easy to adapt and add to and we envisage Amaven being rolled out across many other sectors eventually, besides education.”

On-going marketing services from Livelink include email marketing, copywriting, search, social and media relations.
