Driven 'retains webuyanycar contract'
Wilmslow advertising agency Driven has reportedly retained the £15m creative contract for We Buy Any Car after a review.
Back in July, the Middleton car buying company announced a review of the account and invited Driven to re-pitch for the work.
Today The Drum is reporting that it retained the account following what is understood to have been a five-way-pitch involving Mother, SapientNitro, Albion and one other agency outside of London.
Neil Griffiths, client service partner for Driven, is quoted as saying: “This is terrific news for the agency and validation that the client continues to believe in creating ideas that sell”.
Driven originally won the account in December 2010.
It is also believed that the pitch process will not affect the work of the client’s media agency Mediaedge CIA Manchester.
