Transform Cosmetic Surgery has appointed its third different Manchester PR agency since 2012.

The account, held by Brazen for 6 years, moved over to JAMpr in January 2013. Now Label PR becomes its retained consumer PR agency following pitches from a number of agencies – although JAMpr confirmed to Prolific North that it didn’t repitch.

Shami Thomas, PR manager at Transform, said of Label’s appointment:

“We are absolutely delighted to announce this news. We approached Label PR because of the agency’s exceptional health and beauty experience, and due to the senior management’s understanding and genuine passion for working with Transform.

“We have every faith that this will be a long and fruitful relationship.”

Label, which has offices in Manchester and London will manage the brand’s press office, produce case study information, generate news, handle blogger relations and social media.

“We could not be more proud to be announcing this wonderful news. This is a significant win for Label – the cosmetic surgery sector is set to be worth £3.6bn by 2015 and solid PR management is vital in driving Transform’s success forward,” added Label PR founder and MD, Lee Bloor.

“Transform’s reputation and clinical credentials are second to none and we absolutely look forward to working with its entire team.”

Bloor previously worked on the Transform account while at Tangerine PR, as has Label’s senior account manager, Viki Tahmasebi formerly of JAMpr.
