Provident Personal Credit has appointed Leeds agency Banana Kick to oversee its sponsorship of Super League side Bradford Bulls.

The Bradford-based personal loan company last year agreed a £1million, four-year deal to sponsor the Bulls, including shirt sponsorship and a partnership with the club’s academy.

Sport, leisure and experiential specialist Banana Kick has been tasked with activating the sponsorship with the aim of engaging the local community. BJL has redesigned the artwork and signage.

Provident’s senior sponsorship executive Paul Mitchell said: “We’re now approaching our second season as headline sponsor of the Bulls and we were looking for a partner agency who could not just help drive awareness of Provident Personal Credit but also create a real connection between our company and the club’s supporters.

“We were particularly impressed with Banana Kick’s record in experiential marketing and we’re really looking forward to engaging Bulls fans with a range of exciting activities.”

Banana Kick has also worked with the likes of Asda, Plusnet and the Yorkshire Vikings.
