Social Public Relations has been appointed by Bruntwood to work on the public consultation for a proposed mixed-use scheme in Cheshire.

The Sale-based agency will work with the developer on a new masterplan for Booths Park in Knutsford, which aims to bring more highly skilled jobs, enhanced community sports facilities and new homes to the estate.

Its campaign will involve consulting and engaging with local residents, stakeholders, councillors, sporting and conservation groups, as well as managing the social media and running a series of public consultation events.

Social PR will work alongside a team including BDP Architects and P4Planning.

The account will be led by Social PR director Caty Cartwright, who said: “This is an exciting scheme for Knutsford and we are pleased to be supporting such a renowned property company with a new vision and a new direction for them in terms of residential development.

“Our experience of consultation means that we can help them reach and engage with the communities and get their message to a wide range of audiences.”

Colin Sinclair, director of property marketing at Bruntwood, added: “We are impressed with Social PR’s understanding of the sector, their creative approach and experience in this field which we believe will help us to shape our long-term plans for Booths Park.”
