Yorkshire marketing agency Fox Communications has appointed Paul Blandford as its new head of design.

The agency, which was established in 2001, operates across two offices in Leeds and York.

Managing director Al Fox said Blandford’s appointment takes the number of full time staff up to 10 but added that Fox also actively pursues a policy of employing freelancers where possible.

Prior to joining Fox, Blandford worked for other agencies including Purebrand and PGK (The Whole Caboodle) where his client work encompassed brands including Sony, Florette Salads, Vauxhall and Perrys.

Nelson McConnell, a director of Fox added:  “Paul is a seriously talented creative and designer and he has also been around the block a few times, with experience in a range of sectors, so he knows how to put together campaigns and design that actually works.”

Fox’s clients include Virgin Media, Visit York, Eddisons, Parker Hannifin, B2B International, World Curry Festival, Mignon Potenza Real Estate, Deep See Research, and Leeds City Council.
