ATPATP Event Experts, a division of the ATPI Group, has appointed Anitra Elliott and Rachel Robinson Boggas as respectively operations manager and event manager for the UK, based in the company’s Manchester office.

The UK events division is based between two main UK offices in Manchester and London.

A new temporary office was recently opened in Glasgow ahead of next summer’s Commonwealth Games.  ATP Event Experts won the bid to become the Games Travel Office (GTO) official provider for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Neil Pace, head of UK operations, is relocating to Glasgow to manage the Scottish operation for the duration. It is likely that the Scottish operation will be phased out post the Games in 2014.

Rachel Robinson Boggas joins ATP from Principal Events in Manchester.

Pace said: “In a 12 month period which has seen our business deliver an exceptional number of corporate and hospitality events including last summer’s Olympic Games, the appointment of Anitra and Rachel will not only help us to maintain a key presence within the events sector, but will also allow our team to grow.

“We are thrilled to have secured the services of top level event creatives and managers and their presence will be a significant boost to our existing teams in London and Manchester and in our new satellite office up in Glasgow at Commonwealth House HQ.”
