Skylab has completed a new website for the International Table Tennis Federation ahead of the Rio Olympics.

The Manchester agency won a competitive pitch for the Singapore-based federation and was charged with creating a new content management system and “digital visual language” to enhance its brand.

“So far, so good working with Skylab. They have a very professional team working on the massive job of creating the new ITTF.com website, which will be a state-of-the-art responsive site to service the millions of worldwide table tennis fans,” said Matt Pound, ITTF promotion & media manager.

Skylab managing director Nigel Collier added:

“The International Table Tennis Federation wanted an innovative agency who could deliver their specific requirements ahead of the Olympics.

“Our in-house team have delivered the first phase of the new site which includes an open source CMS and simplified information architecture. We are developing APIs for live results, rankings and player data which will be integrated across the whole ITTF site for fans, players and officials and an evolving roadmap will see key features released every month.”
