North West wine retailer, Corks Out, has appointed theEword to head up its search marketing following a competitive pitch.

It has been tasked to improve the online sales for Corks Out and help it expand with support through online marketing and development.

“Finding someone to look after our search marketing was not an easy task, especially when you’re not very knowledgeable about the subject,” said founder, Ruth Yates.

“We had lengthy meetings with many and when it came down to the final two there were a few easy reasons why we choose theEword, from the first meeting they made us feel comfortable in their professional approach to our business needs, it was clear they had done their homework and they addressed our needs in exactly the right way."

Corks Out was established in 2003 and operates 5 stores in the North West in addition to its website.

Al Mackin, the CEO of Trafford Park-based theEword added: “to work with a great brand and team is a dream and we’re looking forward to delivering success to their business.”
