Never.no at MediaCityUK has won a contract from Singapore media owner, MediaCorp.

It means that its social content aggregator platform, Story, will be used on the station’s flagship, English-language current affairs show, Talking Point.

TALKING_POINTThe software will enable programme-makers to monitor calls, text, email and social media and use them to create snap polls, graphs and captions in real-time.

“Using a new social TV platform enables us even greater control of gathering, managing and publishing social content on air. Social is a key element of Talking Point, driving the show’s content and discussions. Allowing viewers to have their voices heard greatly enhances the show by providing insights into what topics are important and popular amongst Singaporeans,” explained Yvonne Lim, Talking Point’s executive producer.

Never.no is based at The Landing, headed up by Scott Davies:

“Story is a constantly evolving platform for content discovery, curation, and publishing, and included with the latest version are many new features which Talking Point will be utilising,” he said.

“This includes the aggregation of all social content in a single incoming stream which can be then be represented visually in a quick and easy to read format.”
