Marubeni-Komatsu tasks Lesniak Swann with website project

komatsuFollowing a competitive pitch,  Lesniak Swann has been appointed by Marubeni-Komatsu, the UK distributor of Komatsu construction and utility equipment, to design and build a new website for the company.

Japanese-owned Marubeni-Komatsu has its UK HQ in Worcestershire. The company has been importing products from Japan for over 40 years into the UK.

There is a also a major finance operation based at the HQ.

Work on the new website has now started and it is scheduled for completion later this year.  The current web site was created by Mediamaker of Nottingham.

Marubeni-Komatsu has tasked Lesniak Swann with delivering a new a website that not only showcases the company’s range of products and services but also offers increased functionality and an improved user-experience.

Stoke-based Lesniak Swann has designed several global e-commerce sites over the past decade. Other agency clients include Michelin, the NHS, UCLan and Balfour Beatty.

In the past two years, Lesniak Swann has also made two acquisitions:  technical business to business agency Austin Barrett Brock and eCommerce specialist Cyberzia.
