Latest eight Digital City Festival fringe events revealed

Today we can reveal all the latest Digital City Festival fringe events, taking place between March 9th and 13th, from the likes of Manchester Science Partnerships, Tech Manchester, WeWork Labs and more.

Next month’s Digital City Festival will include five days’ worth of events across Manchester, all focused on bringing together and developing businesses working in the digital world.

Its fringe events will complement the high-profile Digital City Expo on March 11th and 12th at Manchester Central, which brings together four industry expos. Topics covered at the growing range of fringe events will include Tech for Good, smart cities, innovation in eCommerce and so much more.

Martyn Collins, Festival Director,  said: “Hosting an event as part of the festival fringe will provide companies with the chance to engage with the industry in whichever way they want.”

Companies, campaigns, educators and more are still invited to become a central part of the Digital City Festival week by putting on their own fringe event at the week-long festival.

WeWork Labs – House of Startups

With special guests from a number of UK cities attending, the event will kick off with a panel discussion about the startup, investment and innovation scene in different locations – including which industries, startups and spaces you should really be tracking in 2020 and beyond.

The talks will then dive into an hour of structured roundtable networking where you’ll get to spend time at different tables meeting fellow attendees and learning more about their businesses, goals, challenges and potential ways to collaborate.

RegTech Talks – Innovation in Manufacturing

RegTech Talks – Innovation in Manufacturing will be bringing together major industry names from the northern manufacturing sector to talk about the regulatory challenges they face and what procedures or technologies they are implementing to create efficiency in their compliance.

Guests will also witness insightful talks from technology solution providers who are working at the bleeding edge of regulatory solutions for the manufacturing sector and Industry 4.0.
