ITV-owned ProVision is to move its Manchester operation to West Gorton’s Space Studios Manchester.

The leading UK equipment supplier of broadcast film and television equipment, which has been operating since 1989, is currently based at The Sharp Project.

It’s expected to complete the move to its new 17,500 sq ft purpose-built home by late 2017. It has also recently moved its Leeds base to new premises on Burley Road.

Graham Waite, Head of ProVision, said: “As drama and production in the North continue to increase we have taken time to reshape the business and maximise our potential in the two main northern production hubs.

“Space Studios Manchester is a perfect fit for us and is an exciting community to be part of. Not only does it place us in to the heart of a vibrant media hub, it also puts us in to the home of drama, which is an increasing part of our business. With our Leeds operation also recently moving to new premises on Burley Road, we are well placed to develop our business further.”

Adrian Bleasdale, CEO of Space Studios Manchester, added: “Their vision fits perfectly with our ongoing development, ensuring that we continue to build on the eco system for the broadcast and film industry here in Manchester.”

Since opening in 2014, production credits at Space Studios Manchester have included Cold Feet, The A Word, Dragons Den, No Offence and Cradle To Grave.
