Bradford’s The Pulse in name and studio change

The Pulse in Bradford has moved to its first new studio in 39 years as it also announces a name change.

The UTV Media-owned station has moved from Forster House, where it has been since launch in 1975, and moved to One St James Business Park.

And now it will be known as Pulse 1 – its AM sister station is already known as Pulse 2.

Station director Matthew Bromham said: “The new location will really suit our needs as the leading local station for the area and it made perfect sense to revamp The Pulse’s image at the same time. We look forward to continuing to bring listeners across West Yorkshire all the music, news and features they’ve come to know and love.”
