BBC Sport is preparing to air every single game of the RBS Six Nations tournament either on television, radio or online.
Last year’s event was watched by a total of 24.5m people, with a peak of 9.4m tuning in for the Wales v England clash.
This year digital streaming of every match will be available across the 4 screens – PC, tablet, mobile and Smart TVs. All content will be added to the BBC Sport app and iPlayer, while the BBC News Channel will broadcast a special Inside 6 Nations preview before each weekend of the tournament.

I am delighted that the BBC will once again deliver an event that unites the nation and thrills audiences of all ages and hope that rugby’s biggest annual competition continues to grow even more popular,” said Barbara Slater, director BBC Sport.
The team of experts for BBC TV includes British and Irish Lions and Scotland legend, Sir Ian McGeechan, who’ll join Sir Clive Woodward, Jonathan Davies, Jeremy Guscott, Andy Nicol, Brian Moore, Keith Wood, Martyn Williams, Chris Paterson, Shane Williams, Phillip Matthews and Thomas Castaignede.
Radio 5 Live’s coverage will include Matt Dawson, Gavin Hastings, Rob Jones and Denis Hickie.
The television coverage will be hosted by John Inverdale, along with Gabby Logan, Jason Mohammed and Ross Harries. Ian Robertson will lead the commentary team for Radio 5 Live and he’ll be alongside Alastair Eykyn, Conor McNamara, Iain Carter and Gareth Lewis.
BBC Sport will also be providing live coverage of the Women’s Six Nations.
Before the tournament kicks off, Matt Dawson will host a Six Nations Preview show on Radio 5 Live on January 30th, where he’ll be joined by special guests to look forward to the competition.
BBC Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will have their own programming and match commentary for television, radio and online.
