Speakers from Red Production Company, BBC North and ITV have been unveiled for BVE North, which returns to Manchester in November.
The broadcast technology exhibition takes place at Manchester Central on November 12 and 13.
Taig McNab, technical manager at ITV, will present a look at the broadcaster’s move to MediaCityUK, while Tom Sherry, executive producer at Red, will speak on how production companies are exploiting new technologies to reinvent workflows.
Other speakers will include Marc Allen of True North, Brian Hardman of The Farm North and Mark Harrison, controller of production at BBC North.
James Rowley-Ashwood, event director, said: “The calibre of speakers that BVE North has attracted serves to underline Manchester’s growing importance as a broadcasting centre – visitors to the show will learn global truths and be able to implement them locally as this key region continues to develop.”
