Moving On series five to debut on iPlayer
Series five of LA Productions' award-winning mini TV drama series will make its debut on iPlayer on 4 November followed by its BBC One broadcast on 11 November.
There are five episodes in the news series said Colin McKeown, LA's managing director.
Writers of the new series include Johnny Vegas (who also gets a second directing role on the new series) and Shaun Duggan who was Bafta nominated for one of his earlier episodes, Doreen featuring Sean Bean.
Moving On, a series of 45 minute dramas, is co-exec produced by Jimmy McGovern and Colin McKeown.
LA Productions is based in Liverpool.
Series four was screened in February this year.
To date, 25 programmes have been made.
The shows made their debut in May 2009, originally in an early-afternoon slot, but following critical acclaim, the series was rebroadcast just a few weeks later to an evening audience.
Moving On's starry list of writers, directors and actors has included Sheila Hancock, Richard Armitage, Dervla Kirwan, Ian Hart and Marion Saastad Ottesen (Lillehammer), Rob James-Collier (Downton), Robert Glenister, Noreen Kershaw and Pauline Harris.
