Entries for the fourth annual Prolific North Awards, which will take place on Thursday 28 April, are now open for submission. The Awards have a new host for the evening in the shape of Justin Moorhouse; the comedian, actor, writer and radio presenter, at what is likely to be once again by some distance the largest single creative industries awards outside London in 2016.
Last year almost 750 people attended the dinner and reviews of the evening and the winners can be found here.

An established favourite on the UK comedy circuit, Moorhouse is a well-known face thanks to his appearances on Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights and Live at the Apollo.
He’s also a regular on BBC Radio 5 live, talkSPORT and Key 103, and is the writer and star of Radio 4 sitcom Everyone Quite Likes Justin.

The deadline for entries is Friday 19th February, with the shortlists announced on 18 March.
