The editorial team in the Manchester office of Mirror Online has been boosted with two new appointments from local papers.
www.mirror.co.uk announced that Jane Lavender will be joining the northern offices of the national as head of production while Aaron Flanagan has been taken on as online sports writer.
Lavender was previously news editor at The Bolton News while Flanaghan has been part of the sports news team at The Manchester Evening News for the past two years.
Earlier this month, Lavender received a Flame of Hope badge on behalf of the newspaper for its work on the Race For Life in Leverhulme Park during which she was picked out for praise by Jane Bullock, Cancer Research UK spokesman for the North West:
