Tangerine PR in Manchester has appointed Dave Goddard to head up its media and crisis communications.

The former journalist with The Sun and News of the World becomes the agency’s 60th employee.

“Tangerine’s reputation for excellence has grown rapidly over the years and it’s an honour to be welcomed into such an impressive team. The ambition, drive and talent at the agency make coming into work every day exciting and challenging in equal measure,” he said.

The agency has also brought in Andrea Littler as associate director. She joins from Consolidated PR and Bite Communications where she held the same role. Littler will be working on growing new business in the consumer department and developing its existing clients.

“This last year has seen Tangerine launch a brand new offer – talent management – as well as bringing in a number of high profile clients including Amir Khan, Royal Enfield, Moda In Pelle and JW Lees,” said Sandy Lindsay, Tangerine’s founder and group MD.

“By appointing Dave, among other recent recruits such as Adele Wilson, as head of insight and strategy, we have strengthened our business proposition, facilitating the agency’s ongoing growth and commitment to deliver the best possible service for our clients.”
