Each week, Monday Moves collates all the recent job-related news on Prolific North, as well as running through all the new opportunities on our job board. 

Newcastle digital agency Orange Bus has announced ambitious plans for growth after opening an office in London.

The £2m-turnover agency is looking to grow that to £10m inside four years and is “actively recruiting” for more staff to be based in the capital.

Elsewhere, Phil Howells has joined mmadigital as creative consultant and Harrogate agency Mixd added two new staff after a spate of recent client wins.

On the jobs board, Manchester-based Core Cities – “one of England’s most influential policy groups” – is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager who will take charge of all comms.

Initially offered as a two-year fixed term contract, this role demands a “motivated and accomplished” professional who will be communicating the group’s work on devolution, economic and social policy.

Mason Williams, also in Manchester, has opportunities for account executives with one year’s experience as well as “proven” account managers. You must have a passion for consumer PR and will join a team under new leadership. There’ll be “no glass ceilings” for the successful applicants.

Journey9 needs an Event/Account Manager with at least three years’ experience. You must have “first class client and account management skills” and be able to hit the ground running.

Citypress is also after an Account Manager for its Business & Corporate team. You’ll have six months’ experience at this level and be capable of “advising senior client decision makers”.

WRG Live has an opportunity for a Producer to be based in either its Manchester or London office. You’ll have a “thorough appreciation of technical production management issues” and will be working with budgets exceeding £1m.

Fresh Group in Cheshire, which recently went through an MBO, has a number of roles: Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Exhibitions Project Executive and Senior Account Executive. In Leeds, Stickyeyes is after a Dutch Speaking Trainee Digital Marketer to join its off-site SEO team, while Workshop in Altrincham has a vacancy for a PR Account Manager/Senior Account Manager, which could suit somebody looking for a part-time position.

Also this week, there are openings for a Digital PR Manager, PR Account Manager, B2B PR Senior Account Executive and PPC Executive in Manchester, while there’s up to £70k available for a Digital Client Services Director.
