Manchester Pet Show announces marketing appointments

The Manchester Pet Show has appointed local agency, PurpleCow PR to run its trade, media and digital publicity strategies.

It’s also announced that Paul Curran, the managing director of Fresh gecko productions will take on the role of event director. The former breakfast show presenter on Absolute Radio and GCap will oversee marketing strategy and growth.

The Pet Show launches at EventCity this Autumn and a further appointment sees Phillip Latala join as finance director. Latala was previously head of finance for UTV Radio GB.

PurpleCow was set up earlier this year by Nikki Murray, the former publicity manager for ITV’s continuing drama teams and Keeley Duffy, who’s worked with Boddingtons, Costa Coffee and Winalot
