Digital agency AD has appointed Sophie Southworth as its new business development director.
Southworth joins its Manchester base from comms agency Journey9, where she was also business development director.

Prior to that she worked at JCI Manchester, Qurius and Hill Dickinson.
AD, which also has offices in Glasgow and London, opened a Manchester operation earlier this year after the acquisition of Fluid Creativity. At the time Fluid had 12 staff.
AD says it has plans to open in “new areas of the UK”.
MD David Johnstone said: “Sophie’s appointment is a fantastic ending to one of our most exciting years yet. Manchester is a home of ours now and we’re thrilled to have such a respected name, not only helping us expand our profile further afield, but also continuing our integration with local businesses.”
