Digital Next appoints former Google Capita product specialist

Digital Next in Manchester has appointed Sherline Raj Kumanan to “spearhead a new direction” in its pay per click offering.

Kumanan joins from Google Capital, where as a product specialist, he managed a training team of 75 account managers and account strategists.

His role was to teach teams about new features that Google was preparing to roll out.

“It was exciting to not only be a part of, but to train teams on new and exclusive features that came out of Google. The anticipation of their public roll-out out feels amazing,” he explained.

“Digital Next is an incredibly creative company and their Sharp Project offices are reflective of that. Just being in such a creative environment is so inspiring and I look forward to being a part of this growing company and bringing on board what I have learned at Google. I find it unusual that a vast number of digital agencies fail to offer even 20% of what Google offers in Paid Search.”

CEO, Justin Blackhurst added that he hoped Kumanan’s arrival would help the agency attract larger clients:

“He has a wealth of knowledge and can bring a fresh outlook to Digital Next and we in turn will help stimulate his creativity, taking Digital Next from strength to strength. This move will further enable us to offer enterprise solutions in paid search for larger brands.”
