Re:Systems opens mobile division in Manchester

Re:Systems, the Derbyshire-based digital communications agency has opened an office in Manchester, which will specialise in mobile technology and software.

It will be headed up by Nick Gallon, formerly head of mobile platforms at BBC Future Media.

“These are exciting times. We are committed to helping our clients understand and anticipate the fast changing demands expected from mobile devices in their industry. Combining our innovative and creative ideas with design and engineering excellence, we strive to deliver solutions that exceed expectations for the long term,” he explained.

Established in 1997, Re:Systems employs 35 people at its Bakewell headquarters and a second office in South Africa.

It stated that it chose Manchester as the location for its mobile division “due to the city’s excellent digital and transport infrastructure and fantastic talent pool.”

Recent projects have included providing mobile ticketing for Heathrow Express, festival apps for BT London Live and online mobile programmes for Land Securities.
