Radio City has announced the new line-up for its Breakfast Show as Dave Kelly moves over from Drive.

The appointment has taken some time, with Kelly’s new co-host Leanne Campbell having been announced in January.

“This is a very exciting time for the station. We are now in our 40th year on air and introducing a fresh sound and a new breakfast show! Leanne & Dave have great chemistry – it’s going to be a compelling listen!! ,” said Chris Rick, content controller at Radio City.

Campbell who’s been on maternity leave, joins from Juice FM and the content team has been auditioning “radio husbands” since the start of the year, only to find that her “perfect partner” was already at the station.

“It's such an exciting time to be a member of the Radio City family. After 10 years on breakfast radio I'm thrilled to be part of this new show in the famous tower! I listened to Radio City as a child heading to school, now my children will hear me on Liverpool's biggest station on their school run!'

Kelly has presented at Radio City for the last 3 years, hosting the Home Run 3-7pm show. He’ll continue in this role until a replacement has been found.
