David Boyle, the director of post production at ITV Studios in Manchester is to join Liverpool’s Lime Pictures.
He’ll be taking up the director of post production role in January, working across all output at the indie, which is behind The Only Way is Essex, Fresh Meat and Hollyoaks.
It’s the latest in a series of high profile appointments at Lime, which recently recruited Derek McLean as head of non-scripted programming as well as former Syco exec, Tamsin Dodgson, and Made in Chelsea and Big Brother series editor, Daniella Berendson.
Boyle has been at ITV for many years, he became head of post-production at 3Sixtymedia in 2007, overseeing work at Quay Street, Oxford Road and Shiver’s base at ITV Yorkshire. He was named ITV Studios’ director of post production in January 2011, taking responsibility for post work across London, Manchester and Leeds.
