Chris Healy has returned to Manchester as regional account director of partnerships for Guardian Media Group following nine years with Shortlist Media.

Healy was one of the first employees of Shortlist, starting as a sales manager in 2007 before rising to become trading director in January 2013 and then group commercial director in July 2015.

Shortlist Media is one of the fastest growing media businesses in the UK.  It was founded in 2007, becoming a pioneer of the ‘freemium’ publishing model.  Headcount now exceeds 150 and publications include ShortList and Stylist, with turnover of £24.6million for y/e March 2016.

Healy helped to oversee the company’s integration with DC Thompson, which was an initial investor in Shortlist and took full control in 2015, but he was eager to return home to Manchester with his young family.

Healy grew up in the city before moving to London, working for Dennis Publishing and Associated Newspapers before moving on to Shortlist.
