Manchester’s Blueprint Web Technologies has rebranded as Agidea, with a new emphasis on “cloud.”
The official launch will take place next week at the Prolific North Live event on February 15th.
“The rebrand has been a fantastic experience for the whole team. It’s given us an amazing opportunity to listen and learn, to refocus on core services and to redefine our values as company. We coined the term ‘Agidea’ internally to name our process of adopting agile methods to rapidly iterate collective ideas into working software – the “agile idea”. When we started thinking about a new company name, ‘Agidea’ was the obvious choice,” explained managing director, Sam Flanagan.
The in-house team has spent the last 12 months researching with clients about the challenges faced by business and IT leaders and found there was “strong demand” for teams to manage high performance deployments to cloud platforms.
One of the clients is Amey, for which Agidea will be maintaining multiple digital platforms and developing its retailer engagement hub at Bluewater Shopping Centre:
“Agidea operates and is seen as a strategic partner to Amey, rather than just a supplier. Over the last 4 years we have become dependent on their extensive capability and ability to support many of our digital platforms, both internal and externally facing,” said Phil Atkin, senior digital communications manager at Amey.
