Leeds agency hires two new group account directors

CreativeRace has appointed two group account directors to support its Leeds office management team.

Emily Rutter joins from Intermarketing, where she was client services director, and has worked with the likes of Tesco, E-on, Sage, Bupa, Co-operative Bank and Jet2.

James Bell moves from digital agency Stickyeyes, where he worked in digital and multichannel strategy for brands such as Staples Europe, Tesco Bank, ghd and GlaxoSmithKline.

The agency, formerly known as Gratterpalm, now employs 156 people with offices in both London and Leeds, and clients such as Asda, Greggs, Pets at Home, DFS and Sofa Workshop.

Gordon Bethell, chairman of CreativeRace, said: “As we move into more strategic and integrated briefs, we need client champions with broad sector experience and strong relationship skills. James and Emily fit the bill perfectly.”
